Kapolda Sumut Instruksikan Kapolres Tembak Bandar Narkoba

TAPANULI SELATAN – Kepala Kepolisian Daerah (Kapolda) Sumatera Utara (Sumut), Irjen Pol Paulus Waterpauw, menginstruksikan seluruh kapolres di jajarannya untuk melakukan tindakan terukur terhadap para bandar narkoba di wilayah masing-masing.

“Saya menginstruksikan kepada seluruh Kapolres di jajaran hukum Polda Sumut, agar memberikan tindakan terukur apabila mereka (bandar narkoba) melawan,” ujar Kapolda.

Tentunya, tindakan terukur tersebut harus sesuai dengan mekanisme yang ada, sehingga tidak melanggar hak azasi manusia (HAM). Maraknya peredaran narkoba memaksa pihak kepolisian harus bertindak lebih tegas, sehingga peredaran barang haram itu dapat minilimalisir.

Diceritakannya, saat ini Polda Sumut sedang berkonsentrasi terhadap jaringan narkoba internasional. ”Khusus untuk jaringan narkoba internasional tidak ada maaf, segera lakukan tindakan terukur,” tuturnya.

Selain tindakan terukur, Kapolres juga diwajibkan untuk melakukan koordinasi dengan seluruh kalangan seperti, TNI, tokoh masyarakat dan agama. Menurutnya, tindakan tersebut akan mempermudah pihak kepolisian dalam membongkar jaringan narkoba yang ada di wilayah masing-masing.

”Segera lakukan koodinasi dengan seluruh kalangan, terutama TNI, tokoh agama dan masyarakat,” imbuhnya.

Dia berharap agar masyarakat bekerja sama dengan pihak kepolisian untuk memberantas narkoba di wilayah masing-masing. ”Tanpa dukungan masyarakat, pihak kepolisian akan kesulitan untuk memberantas narkoba itu,” tuturnya. (Sindonews.com)
